DMCA Guidelines

Welcome to the Hold Harmless Agreement website. In our commitment to fostering a respectful and legal use of content, we adhere to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page provides guidance on how to report alleged copyright infringements properly and illustrates our process for handling such claims. Our goal is to ensure that all content on our site respects copyright laws and the rightful owners' intellectual property rights.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyright-protected work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement, please notify us. Your notice must be in writing and contain the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site.
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

To submit a DMCA notice, please send your complaint to our designated agent at the following email: dmca@holdharmlessletter.com. Upon receipt of a valid claim, we review the alleged infringement and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material claimed to be infringing.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you receive a notification that your content has been removed due to a copyright infringement notice and you believe this to be incorrect, you have the right to submit a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • An identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the content.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Please send your counter-notification to our designated agent via email at dmca@holdharmlessletter.com. Once we receive your valid counter-notification, we will follow the DMCA process to resolve the dispute.
